I'm Not Proud
Anger is irrational. It clouds a person's judgement. They are not going to sit down and think about if they should act out. If they do sit down, it is often to plan something terrible. Anger can be all encompassing. Angry people "see red." They are often placed on a war path. One year when I was younger, my brother Tom got a kazoo. It was ridiculously annoying, so I stole it and threw it into the back of a largely unopened closet. He found out because I am, at times, the least subtle person on the planet. He then proceeded to steal my password journal. These were a big deal. I know it was him, so then I pantsed him in front of our neighbor. He then broke my fake gum trap that trapped a person's finger when they pulled out a piece of gum. This was a criminal offense. I then punched him in the nose. He then punched me in the nose. My mother screamed. I returned his kazoo and got a broken password journey in return. My mother had to restrain me from punching him again. I'm not proud.
